You Are Our All in All

This is a modified version of “You Are My All in All” by Nichole Nordeman. As we live by His life together we find ourselves in conflict with our flesh which attempts to divide us. But as Frank Viola points out in “Revise Us Again”:

“Drop whatever is causing the problem, and let it go into death. There is nothing for us to cling to except the Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing. So let that other thing that is causing division go into death. Give it up, and watch what the Lord can do.”

You Are Our All in All

You are our strength when we are weak
You are the treasure that we seek
You are our all in all
Seeking You as a precious jewel
Lord, to give up we’d be a fool
You are our all in all

Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your name

Taking our sin, our cross, our shame
Rising up again we bless Your name
You are our all in all
When we fall down You pick us up
When we are dry You fill our cup
You are our all in all

Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your name

God, You Are Our God

This is another revised song. It seemed like a good fit by including the key terms of walk, follow, rest, and stand that describe moving forward in expressing the life of Christ in His body.

It is to the tune: “God, You are my God.”

God, You are our God,
And we will ever praise You.
God, You are our God,
And we will ever praise You.

We will meet You in the morning,
And learn to walk in Your ways,
Step by step You lead us,
And we will follow You all of our days.

God, You are our God,
And we will ever praise You.
God, You are our God,
And we will ever praise You.

We will meet You in the evening,
And learn to rest in Your ways,
Step by step You lead us,
And we will stand-in You all of our days.

Change Our Hearts, Oh God

Was singing some songs and thought to revise this one to make it more corporate and living by Christ’s life versus imitating religious practices. Maybe you and other brothers and sisters might get to sing it together, one to another and to the Lord? Blessings, :).

To the tune “Change My Heart, Oh God.”

Change my heart, oh God,
Make it ever new,
Change my heart, oh God,
May I live by You.

You are the potter, I am the clay,
Mold me and make me, this is what I pray,

(just the brothers)
Change our hearts, oh God,
Make us ever new,
Change our hearts, oh God,
May we live by You.

You are the potter, we are the clay,
Mold us and make us, this is what we pray

(just the sisters)
Change our hearts, oh God,
Help us see Your Son,
Change our hearts, oh God,
Liv-ing by Your Son.

You are the potter, we are the clay,
Mold us and make us, this is what we pray

Change our hearts, oh God,
Help us see we’re new,
Change our hearts, oh God,
Help us live by You.

What Has Made Me Whole Within? (to the tune of “Nothing But The Blood”)

Was thinking this old hymn could do with some revising. Let me know what you think.
__________

What has washed away our sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What has made us whole within?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Oh, precious is the flow,
That made us white as snow.
No other fount we know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

This is all our hope and peace,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
This is all our righteousness,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Oh precious is the flow,
That made us white as snow.
No other fount we know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

(just the brothers)
What has taken away our flesh?
Nothing but the cross of Jesus.
What has canceled all our debts?
Nothing but the cross of Jesus.

Oh precious is the flow,
That made us white as snow.
No other fount we know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

(just the sisters)
What has disarmed all the powers?
Nothing but the cross of Jesus.
What has triumphed over our foe?
Nothing but the cross of Jesus.

Oh precious is the flow,
That made us white as snow.
No other fount we know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Who has given us our new life?
Nothing but the Son of the Father.
Who is truly one with us?
Nothing but the Son of the Father.

Oh precious is the flow,
That made us white as snow.
No other fount we know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

We Surrender All

As we met together this morning at a brother and sister’s home we were singing to the Lord and as we sang “I surrender all” I thought how the words seemed to be very individual focused and was prompted to rewrite it, the body of Christ surrendering to His headship.

I rearranged some of the words and with the body together we sang it a couple times and worked out some of wording so that it would flow better together. Some of the words do not rhyme, but apart from that think it works.

It is to the tune of “I Surrender All.” This song is dedicated to Christ and His body, which He is head.

We Surrender All
(to the tune “I Surrender All”)

All to Jesus we surrender, all to Him we freely give;
We will ever love and trust Him, in His presence daily live.

Chorus:
We surrender all, we surrender all;
All to Thee, our blessed Savior,
We surrender all.

All to Jesus we surrender, humbly at His feet we bow;
All the old man laid asi’de, put on Jesus, our true life.

All to Jesus we surrender, make us, Savior, Thy true rest.
U’ ni’ ty of Holy Spirit, being eager to preserve.

All to Jesus we surrender, Lord, we give ourselves to Thee;
Walking in Thy love and power, Jesus dwelling in side us.

A Proclamation: To the People of God (A Psalm to be Read)

My hand at putting some words by Kat Huff to the a tune for the body of Christ. After trying it out it seems better to be read as a psalm than sung as a song!

A Proclamation: To the People of God
Words by Kathy Marie Huff
(to the tune of “Let it Snow”)

Together, we are to be One
The Sons of God, Ecclesia
Expressing our Lord Jesus
Every moment of existence

Let’s turn around now and see Him
Not on His things we admire
But focus on Jesus Christ
Unite in Life, not in religion

The Dwelling place of the Father
Living in Him with one another
He is our Head our body life
We are the Bride of Glory

United as God’s free people
The Body of light a Fam’ly
People of God see Him as One
B-y One, f-or One, and in One

“The New Man,” words arranged by John S. Wilson III

Led to write some words about Christ and His bride and Journey’s song “Open Arms” came to mind. Using Ephesians and Colossians and the tune of “Open Arms” this is what came out. Have tried singing it to Open Arms and think it fits, fun!

Living inside us, never to leave
Blessed with all blessings in Christ
Asking to know You, our mind is Yours
Bearing with one another in love
His peace rules in our hearts
Christ is our life
His family and body

Chorus:
God raised us up with Christ, seated in h’vn
Open to grace, open to Your love
God loves us so, with His great love
Looking to see Your life living in us
The New Man

Setting our hearts on th’ings above
Not on earthly things that are dead
Wanting more of You, bearing our cross
How much we want You to dwell

Come now brothers, sisters
Christ revealed in love
Yes, our everything

Chorus:
God raised us up with Christ, seated in h’vn
Open to grace, open to Your love
God loves us so, with His great love
Looking to see Your life living in us
The New Man

Words arranged by John S. Wilson III
